Work at the Boiling Springs Pool this summer!

Gain experience working with the public and your peers this summer at the Boiling Springs Pool. The pool has a great atmosphere and is a fun place to work when scheduled and enjoy on your days off!

Each position has different tasks and procedures that ensure our guests have a great time at the pool. We are counting on a few employees to handle those responsibilities.

Lifeguards

Are you concerned about the safety of our guests in the water at the pool? Do you know how to keep kids AND adults safe?

Our lifeguards make sure that everyone understand the rules of our facility and can convey that information in a friendly way.

Safety is our #1 concern at the pool and you are our front line.

 American Red Cross or other lifeguarding certification is required.

Ages 15yrs+

 
Snack Bar

Our snack bar has a large variety of food, candy, ice cream and drinks.

Understanding the proper way to handle food and how to serve these items is important. Good math aptitude is also required to operate the cash register.

The snack bar can be busy and get slow at times, but there is always something to do. If you like to keep busy and enjoy working with our guests, this is a great job for you!

Guest services

Are you good at helping our guests arrive at the pool, handle the register for admissions, check in groups and answer questions about the pool? Can you provide our guests with the best pricing plan for their visit?

Your jobs in guest services is the first impression of our staff and facility. Can you handle being the one to make that first impression?

We are looking for very friendly people to help our guests have a great experience!

Age preferred: 18yrs +

 

 
Maintenance

Keeping the pool clean is a tough job. There is trash, grass, mud, water… you name it!

We need someone that can get all the jobs on our pre-open list done and then work on other varied maintenance tasks all around the pool, including painting, lawn and garden work and light construction.

No experience for these jobs is required, but you have to be able to learn and apply new skills. Some moderate lifting is required.

Ages 16yrs+

landscaping

We need one person to do some maintenance work, but also some more specific work with our trees, flower beds and areas along the Yellow breeches and other outside areas. This position includes a Saturday morning team-mowing job. Some mowing and lawn care experience required.

Ages 17yrs+

Additional Information

Potential candidates should have resumes to us by the middle of April. In general, interviews occur in the second half of April and job offers are made in the beginning of May. Our season opens on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.

Returning staff are reminded to get in touch with us sometime in March to let us know of your intentions to return for the current season
